Excursion to Meknes-Volúbilis

Meknes. This city is located on the foot of the High Atlas Mountains and it is the most modest of the four imperial cities of Morocco.
In Meknes we can visit its medina and walk around its souks. We will also visit the el-Hedim Square, which like the Jamaa el Fna Square in Marrakech, is the most important place for culture and the busiest spot in the city. Other places to see are the Bab el-Mansour Gate, which communicates the aforementioned square with the Madrasa Bou Inania; the Mulay Ismaíl Mausoleum…
and many other monuments and spots hidden in this beautiful imperial city.

Excursion to Ifrane-Arzou

Ifrane. It is known in Morocco as “Little Switzerland”. It is a clean and ordered city located between the Atlas Mountains. Its inhabitants have a high standard of living and it is a typical winter vacation destination for ski lovers.
The most outstanding place to visit in this city is the royal palace. It is not possible to go inside but we can tour the outside. We can also see the Al-akhawayn University, the downtown with its nice bars and outside cafes and the Stone Lion sculptured by a German soldier during World War II.

Arzou. Berber city located in Middle Atlas, 80 km away from Fez. It is surrounded by the famous cedar forests where we can enjoy the millenary cedar trees in the area and some baboon monkey.

Excursion to Mulay Idris

Mulay Idris. It is located 70 km away from Fez. It is one of the most famous places for pilgrimage in Morocco. This city, given its religious status, was closed to non-Muslims until the 20th century. It is the sanctuary of the founder of the Idrisid Dynasty, founded by Idris I, who is considered to be a descendent of Mohammed.
In this city we can visit the Mulay Idris Mausoleum, the square of Mulay Idris, the round minaret and the panoramic terraces in order to have a view of the city.
