Day 1
Arrival at Marrakech
Transfer from the airport to a Riad with charm that is only 5 minutes away by walking from the enigmatic Jemma Fna Square, a famous meeting point of Marrakech people where you will discover an incomparable ambiance: snake charmers, dancers, story tellers, clairvoyants… We will walk around the Square and have dinner in one of the many eating places offering typical Moroccan food in the Square. Overnight in a Riad.
Día 2
Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate
In the morning we will visit MARRAKECH, center of Morocco, with its old city (Medina), its red souks, its famous JAMAA el FNA Square which is full of life during day and night time.
After eating we will depart from MARRAKECH to go to the South of Morocco.
We will cross the Atlas by the TIZI N’TICHKA harbor, which offers wonderful panoramic views over the High Atlas Mountains before getting to the TELOUET Kasbah.
After visiting the Kasbah we will continue crossing the Atlas by a track that joins TELOUET with the splendid Kasbah of AIT BEN HADDOU (world heritage site).
Overnight in a Riad.
Day 3
Ouarzazate – Skoura – Boutaghrar – Dades
We will start the visit by the OUARZAZATE Lake and then we will cross the palm grove of SKOURA. Here is where the track to the AMGOUNE Mountains starts. We will see typical Berber towns and will enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Dinner with a Berber family in Boutaghrart town.
After a tour around the Valley of Roses, we will continue on the track until the Dades gorge. We will stay at a Riad in the gorges.
Day 4
Dades – Nekoub – Zagora
We will visit the gorges and the valley before getting to BOUMALNE DADES. Finally we will go to the IKNIOUN town, starting point of the track that goes through the GEBAL SAGHRO, a volcanic mountain range. We will follow that track until the N’KOB town where we will have lunch. Afterwards we will keep on the track along the Kasbahs, the Ksars, and the DRAA River that surrounds the DRAA Valley until ZAGORA. Overnight in a Riad.
Day 5
Zagora-Ramlia-Merzouga
We will cross a Reg (stone desert) that is a real lunar landscape with immense extensions of dark stones that gives a mineral touch to the desert. We will visit several Berber towns – where authentic nomads live under tents -, oasis, oueds (wadies) and desert plateaus before getting to the splendid and majestic golden and rose dunes of the L’ERG CHEBBI in MERZOUGA.
Overnight in a Riad.
Day 6
Merzouga– Ergchebbi
After breakfast we will go around the dunes and see the nomadic lands, the KHAMLIA town (a town of black people), the MIFISS mines, the desert plateaus, the Berber nomads and the TISSARDMINE oasis. In the afternoon we will ride dromedaries to go to watch the sunset in the dunes and we will sleep in haimas located in the middle of the desert, in the heart of the dunes. A magic night under the stars!.
Día 7
Mereouga– Gargantas del Todra – Ourazazate
We will return to the hostel riding camels, have breakfast and take a shower. Later we will depart leaving the desert behind and we will visit the Bedouin town of Rissani. We will visit its great suko and its beautiful palm grove before taking the road to the famous TODRA Gorge where we will have dinner. We will visit to the Todra palm grove and go to Ouarzazate by the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs. Overnight in a Riad.
Day 8
Ouarzazate– Marrakech – Essaouira
Link to the red town of Marrakech crossing the High Atlas and visit to the enigmatic colonial city of Essaouira. Overnight in a Riad.
Day 9
Essaouira -Marrakech
In the morning we will visit the medina. We will eat at the harbor and then we will walk around the beaches of Essaouira. Transfer to Marrakech. Overnight in Riad.
Day 10
Transfer to the airport
